L-Gante Speaks Out on Legal Conflict with Former Manager

Argentine singer Elián Valenzuela, better known as L-Gante, opened up about his legal conflict with his former representative, Maxi "El Brother", and his wife Lourdes, calling the situation a "misunderstanding". In an interview with María Belén Ludueña for the show "Tarde o Temprano" (El Trece), the musician confessed he is experiencing an "emotional break". "I'm in one of the most peaceful moments of my life, handling things under my own responsibility, with my brother and Luis Perdomo helping me move forward," he said about his current life. He mentioned a period of "disinformation and confusion" in his communication with his former representative and their lawyer. According to Agencia Noticias Argentinas, Valenzuela has taken legal action against Maxi El Brother, demanding a sum between 1 and 1.4 million dollars for alleged embezzlement and misuse of his commercial name. The singer explained that while the accounts might have been settled, he was not fully aware of all the records from the period they worked together, from the contract renewal to the present day, or since he signed with Warner. When asked if he was facing financial bankruptcy, L-Gante clarified: "As for bankruptcy, all I can confirm is an emotional and sentimental one." He added that he might have had to ask Maxi or Lourdes to make some payments, but he always managed to arrange his finances so as not to be left without money. A prime example was the house he was building in San Eliseo, which he had hoped would be in his name but ultimately ended up registered under Lourdes's name.
